Exploring Wasing Park…..
From meetings to parties, car launches to festivals, retreats to sporting events and as an unrivalled filming venue, Wasing can accommodate all, including events for 6 to 140 guests inside and up to 5000 outside.
The Meeting Room at the Stables Lodge is perfect for boardroom style up to 20 delegates and has a wall of glazed doors leading out to the private courtyard, which can also be used to host meetings, with views of the gardens and Church.
For larger meetings the light and airy Garden Room is perfect with its walls of glass bi-fold doors overlooking the Castle Barn. This space can seat up to 60 classroom style, 40 cabaret style or 100 theatre style.
The Stables bar is an inviting space to socialise after a day full of meetings and is perfect for pre-dinner drinks when dining at the Stables Lodge. On balmy summer evenings enjoy drinks in the courtyard overlooking the church and in the winter sink into one of our sumptuous sofas near the roaring log burner.
The Stables Lodge lounge can also be used for more informal meetings in a relaxed environment.
The Castle Barn, full of character and charm is a fantastic space seating up to 140 for dining and can also be used as a meeting space. It has a large terrace with a stretch tent over and outdoor seating for 50, not only perfect for dining but also for al-fresco meetings and events.
The lawns at The Secret Walled Garden are ideal for a tipi or stretch tent, to host an outdoor meeting under cover. The stunning Victorian glasshouse is perfect for lunch with views over the beautiful garden.
The Woodland is complete with an amazing purpose-built outdoor kitchen, firepits to sit around in the evening, a stretch tent to host the meeting or event, so even in the event of inclement weather guests can still admire the true beauty of the woodland. It even has mains electric and the internet.
Wasing can accommodate most activities from wild mushroom foraging to yoga or cycling the many tracks on the Estate. Why not opt for a treasure hunt that takes you around the main venue to the Woodland Venue, incorporating the most stunning woodland lakes, then on to the Walled Garden. Maybe mix in a few activities at certain points, like a Segway trail, archery or even cooking your own lunch in our wood fired pizza oven at the woodland.
With wonderful menus to suit every taste and style, our executive chef, Stu, and his enthusiastic team of brilliant chefs, delight in creating bespoke menus for your event. Push the boundaries and offer guests wild venison from the Wasing Woodlands or tasty Crayfish from the Estate’s rivers.
Situated at the venue are 26 stylish bedrooms. Every bedroom boasts bespoke design and absolute luxury within an elegant historical setting. They also benefit from sustainable heating and hot water, using a bio-mass boiler with the wood coming from our land.
