Oatlands Park Hotel is one of Surrey’s finest 4-star hotels to host events, business meetings and conferences. Located in Weybridge, the grade II listed country house hotel features 12 flexible event rooms and 120 refurbished bedrooms, all surrounded by 10 acres of peaceful gardens.
Since the global coronavirus pandemic, the hotel, like most hospitality businesses, has sadly had to close its doors on more than one occasion and respond to Government guidance and localised Tiers. Throughout the uncertainty, there have been times when business meetings have been permitted to continue for the purposes of work or education. Oatlands Park Hotel has been responsive to these times and when there was a demand for safe meetings, the hotel was quick to implement a Covid-19 Secure environment to welcome necessary events and meetings.
Meetings & Events Manager, Sofie Hewson at Oatlands Park Hotel mentions: “As a hotel and conference venue, we have also had to adapt and closely follow advice from the Government and UK Hospitality to create a Covid-19 secure environment by increasing hygiene and safety measures to ensure the safety of our team, our guests and our community. These include hand sanitiser stations, one-way systems and screens in place. We proudly display the green tick “We’re Good to Go” logo which shows the actions we have taken to welcome guests in line with Government and Public Health England.”
Oatlands Park Hotel has also made its event rooms secure by reconfiguring their capacities to allow for a minimum of 1 metre between seated delegates and 2 metres between tables. Each of the event rooms are sanitised with an anti-viral fogger and sealed before each arrival. There’s also hand sanitiser on each table and any pens, notepads and water bottles can be taken away at the end of the session.
When the time is right to hold events and business meetings again, Oatlands Park Hotel feel confident that they are ready to welcome back event planners, delegates and guests in a safer and responsible way.
