Filming projects continue at Royal Holloway despite the pandemic

Royal Holloway’s stunning setting and state-of-the-art conference facilities continue to prove popular among film crews despite the pandemic. Recent filming locations have included our ornately decorated Victorian rooms, corridors and lecture theatres as well as our modern foyers, classrooms and coffee shops. Outside, film crews have enjoyed the backdrop of stunning Victorian architecture, as well as our two quadrangles, colonnades, modern pedestrianised square, woodland and boating lake. Having received “Good To Go” COVID-19 accreditation, our visitors can be reassured that that all the necessary processes are in place in line with government and public health guidance.

Royal Holloway’s distinctive Founder’s Building and grounds have featured in the production of a range of TV shows and film including Great British Railway Journeys, The Split (BBC) Cheat (ITV), Avengers: Age of Ultron, Downtown Abbey and Midsomer Murders.
