On Tuesday 14th July Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons reopened its doors and, to make the day even more special, it was Bastille Day! Raymond and the team could not be happier to welcome you back to our 15th-century manor in the heart of the Oxfordshire countryside, where joy, celebration and joie de vivre are at the heart of Le Manoir once again. Now, more than ever, we cannot wait to make wonderful memories with friends old and new on such a special day.
Whilst the last few months has forced many changes to so many, the desire to spend time with family and friends is more apparent than ever. The importance of spending time with loved ones and the longing to create more memories resonates with us all.
It appears many have found a renewed passion for cooking during lockdown as there has been huge interest in The Raymond Blanc Cookery School. Half day or full day courses will be available for up to four guests. The new ‘September soirees’ course will be introduced, highlighting dishes for al fresco dining using the freshest ingredients available at the time.
For those who may have used the past few months to brush up on garden skills and wish to learn a little more, limited tours of Le Manoir’s gardens will be taken by a member of the team for small groups.
There will be a seasonal menu available that offers guests the choice of five or seven courses, alongside the exceptional wine list that houses many of Raymond’s favourites. Limited reservations will be taken for lunch (Wednesday to Sunday) and dinner (daily) and guests will have carefully allocated individual arrival times.
We have a choice of luxurious accommodation available, including four garden suites that have their own private outdoor space and entrance. Room service will also be available for those who wish.
