Swan at Streatley reopens for events
Good news for event planners – The Swan at Streatley in Berkshire is reopening in July, following a massive £12 million renovation.
Set on one of the most stunning stretches of the River Thames, the 17th Century hotel offers newly designed and versatile spaces, which are perfect for meetings, private dinners and celebrations.
Designed to inspire without the formality of other venues, The Swan has six flexible meeting rooms to accommodate from 10 to 130 people depending on how they are configured. As well as being equipped with all the right tech, filled with natural light and designed to encourage creative thinking, all rooms have access to the Pantry, which is stocked with drinks, healthy snack and treats.
The meeting rooms lead out to the hotel’s riverside garden for break-out areas or private drinks parties, while the extensive grounds, gym and yoga studio provide the perfect setting for team-building activities, from paddle boarding and dragon boating to cocktail making and pilates.
The Swan offers 47 newly refurbished bedrooms. Designed to be light, restful spaces where every detail has been considered, from comfortable beds and fast wi-fi to stand alone baths and wake me up rain showers, the rooms can be booked at a preferential rate for event guests.
Getting to The Swan couldn’t be easier. It’s only a short walk from Goring and Streatley station, from where there are direct trains to London, and it’s within easy reach of both the M4 and A34.
