Royal Holloway provides the set for new "Born a King" film

Royal Holloway’ Grade 1 listed Founder’s Building recently provided the back drop for the film “Born a King”, an extraordinary real life story set in 1919. The film tells the story of Faisal, a 14 year old teenage Arab prince who is sent from Arabia to London by his father, Prince Abd Al-Aziz, on a mission to secure the formation of his country. The film is due for release in 2018.

Royal Holloway’s distinctive Founder’s Building and stunning grounds have proved to be a popular location in the production of a range of TV shows and films, including Avengers: Age of Ultron, Downton Abbey, Celebrity Masterchef, Midsomer Murders and Basic Instinct 2.
