According to a new survey of 362 businesses in the Berkshire and Bucks region 100% of respondents agree that developing a relationship with clients is the main purpose of their marketing events. And a further 61% say that Marketing Events are ‘important’ or ‘very important’ for their organisations according to wine industry knowledge specialist Brill Ideas Ltd.
But practically, how do organisations do that without the hard sell? Wine tasting it seems is better than any other events mentioned in the survey. They generate the most interest and curiosity that leads clients to attend events and creates a relaxed and amiable environment to build relationships.

Over 75% of respondents agreed wine tasting is fun or that they can’t wait to explore new wines, with no respondent finding wine tasting elitist.
“The onset of the Autumn and Christmas entertaining season is the ideal opportunity to invite clients to business events and a Wine Tasting is the best way to ensure a good turn out and deliver a good customer experience.”
