For Americans one of the most important days of the year is fast approaching and Cliveden House is planning a truly memorable Thanksgiving dinner to share with friends and family.
Dinner will be served in the historic French Dining Room, a Rococo masterpiece purchased in 1897 by Cliveden’s then owner ‘America’s richest citizen’ William Waldorf Astor on a visit to Paris. Ever since no one has been able to resist an invitation: from Chaplin to Churchill, Lawrence to Lennon… Cliveden’s dramatic history includes philandering noblemen, house parties for prime ministers and visits by royalty.
