Charity walking on the Thames Path

A huge thank you and a big hug to everyone who helped our very own Susan Hill raise funds for MacMillan Cancer Support. And what better way to do it than to take part in the “Mighty Hike” along the Thames Path from Windsor to Henley-on-Thames. The Marathon walk was 26.2 miles of the total 184 miles of the Thames Path and passed the beautiful Thames Valley towns of Eton, Marlow, Cookham and of course some of the Thames Valley’s most exquisite venues, including the Sir Christopher Wren’s Hotel, Eton Dorney Lake, Oakley Court,  The Compleat Angler, Bisham Abbey, Danesfield House, Henley Greenlands, Phyllis Court, and the River and Rowing Museum all of which have wonderful views of the River Thames, even in the rain!  It took Susan just over 8 hours and she raised nearly £300 for a great cause.  Well done!
