Regeneration at Newbury Racecourse

Following heavy investment into its facilities, Newbury Racecourse has been undergoing significant regeneration. The venue has recently announced that it will be refurbishing the fourth floor of The Berkshire Stand in 2017. These planned developments to one of the racecourse’s main buildings will ultimately provide high quality meeting and conference spaces to delegates.

Alongside this, Newbury Racecourse will be continuing with the rest of its redevelopment plans, due for completion by 2018, including the opening of The Newbury Club (due for completion in 2017) – which will provide office space, a bar for owners and trainers and a dining area and patio, which will double as a new events venue on non-race days.

The Conference and Events team at Newbury Racecourse had a particularly successful year throughout 2016 and have even facilitated some exciting bookings for 2017 and beyond! In 2017 the racecourse will be hosting conferences for major national brands, including well-known retailers and a utility company, as well as providing a vast array of wedding packages (with bespoke traditional, self-catered options available).

Having ended 2016 on a high, Newbury Racecourse is looking forward to kick-starting a busy and innovative 2017.
